TENS Offering Scholarships for Conference in AprilTuesday, March 6, 2018Thanks to a grant from the National Episcopal Church, TENS is offering a limited number of registration scholarships to this exciting conference. Another great mission in our DioceseWednesday, February 21, 2018I took a ride to Savona, NY recently to learn of a special parish mission supported by the Church of the Good Shepherd. The Shepherd's Cupboard opens a Food Pantry each month to those in need of food and other items. They are serving the Campbell / Savona School Districts, covering 92 square miles. Click here

A Great Day of Pancake Races!!!Monday, February 12, 2018"Shrove Tuesday is the day before Lent starts on Ash Wednesday. The name Shrove comes from the old middle English word 'Shriven' meaning to go to confession to say sorry for the wrong things you've done. Lent always starts on a Wednesday, so people went to confessions on the day before. This became known as Shriven Tuesday and then Shrove Tuesday. |
