St. Stephen's of Rochester likes to be know for their ministries within their community.  One partnership is the Mobile Pantry with Southwest Ecumenical Ministries, known as SWEM.  With the help of Foodlink, they offer a variety of groceries for those in need in the west side of Downtown Rochester. Faith Community Leaders Ask for Farmworkers Rights

[ALBANY, NY] – Faith and community leaders will be asking Governor Cuomo and the members of the State Senate and Assembly for Rights for Those Who Feed New York, by asking for their leadership in supporting the Farmworker Fair Labor Practices Act (S2721), a Bill that will provide basic labor protections to farmworkers. Farmworkers, most of whom are foreign born, are feeling more and more helpless in an already unprotected environment.

A Local International Woman’s Day

A Local International Woman’s Day was a great success (for the first one) in Montour Falls, Saturday, March 10. More than 30 women and teens participated at St. Paul’s Parish House, 108 S. Genesee St, Montour Falls. Participants from Episcopal, Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian churches and more were represented.
