The Ordination of Michael Laver as a Priest at St. John's SodusMonday, December 18, 2017It was a cold and snowy Saturday on December 16, 2017 for the Orination of Michael Laver. However, the warmth of God inside the church was felt throughout the large congregation. The Rev. Michael Laver joined the Episcopal Church in 2005 and started discerning a call to ministry a couple years later, in 2008. Nativity Scene DisplayMonday, December 11, 2017St. Luke's in Fairport held a Nativity scene event that was free to the public. Parishioners were invited to bring their favorite displays from around the world. |

Bishop Visitation and Organ BlessingFriday, December 8, 2017Here's a quick video of the Organ Blessing last weekend, during the Bishop's Visitation at St. John's Episcopal Church of Canandaigua last Sunday. A beautiful reception brunch followed the service. The Rev. David Hefling and his staff did a wonderful job with this service, on this first Sunday of Advent!
