Episcopal Diocese of Rochester
Christians in the bond of community seeking to serve the world in the love of God

Join Us - Rochester Pride Parade

Join the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester at the Rochester Pride Parade!

You’re invited to walk with us in this year’s Rochester Pride Parade on Saturday, July 19, as we celebrate God’s love for all people and bear witness to our baptismal call to respect the dignity of every human being. This is an important and timely opportunity to show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community and to affirm our commitment to be a welcoming church.

  • Line-up begins at 10:00 AM. We are spot #96 in the Parade - please join us at our lineup number at 10 am (not before).
  • Parade begins at 11:00 AM
  • All are welcome—clergy, laypeople, families, friends, and allies! We’ll have a diocesan banner and handouts to share. You're encouraged to bring your own signs and expressions of love and inclusion. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, and a hat—we’ll be outside for a while.
  •  ASL interpretation will be available.
  •  Still needed: A convertible, pickup truck, or SUV with a removable top. If you can help, please contact: mhartz@stmarksandstjohns.org
