Bishop Diocesan Search Committee Application Window is now Closed

The Standing Committee is now receiving applications to be considered for the Search Committee, for the 9th Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester. The application is available below.
 
The Search Committee is responsible for creating a profile for potential candidates, reviewing, and interviewing applicants, and presenting a short list of candidates to the Standing Committee. More information about the requirements and duties of Search Committee members can be found on the application form. Much of the work of the Search Committee will be directed by the results of the recent Listening Sessions, which have been summarized in a document entitled: “What We Heard.” This document has been distributed across the diocese to the leadership in your church, and is also available on the Diocesan website.
 
If you don’t feel called to apply for the Search Committee, but would like to be involved in the process, there will also be an opportunity to work on the Transition Committee. This committee will be focused on event planning and hospitality as we welcome the candidates, especially our new Bishop of Rochester. More information will be shared soon by the Standing Committee.
