Interfaith leaders gather to urge care, tolerance for refugees

ROCHESTER - On November 23, faith leaders from the American Baptist Church, the Jewish Federation of Greater Rochester, Temple Sinai, the Hickey Center of Nazareth College, the Hindu Temple of Rochester, the Sikh Gurudwara of Rochester, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester, the Islamic Center of Rochester, the Presbytery of the Genesee Valley and the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester gathered before the press to condemn both recent acts of terrorism and the increase of intolerance directed at Muslim refugees from Syria and other war-torn regions.
