Bishop Singh Presents Report to Mayor of Rochester

May 1 - Bishop Prince Singh and Canon Johnnie Ross met with the Mayor of Rochester Lovely Warren at City Hall to present her with a copy of "Racism, Our Church and Our Region: The Complex Past."

Homeless Community on Spectrum Property

A community of homeless people has developed on the property of Spectrum TV on Mt. Hope Ave.  Now, there's an effort to remove the homeless from the private property.

Racism Report Now Available

In November of 2016, The Episcopal Diocese of Rochester engaged in a year-long pilgrimage that involved diocesan-wide teaching, study and listening around the theme of Seeing the Face of God in Each Other.  This pilgrimage culminated in a significant visit from the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, Most Rev. Michael Curry, who blessed, challenged and encouraged us. His visit was punctuated by a poignant liturgy of Repentance, Reconciliation and Healing at the 85th Convention of our Diocese.
