Three words describe the Diocesan Listening process
-elightening, amazing and fun!
It is enlightening to hear about the number and variety of ministry that make up the richness of the Diocese of Rochester. From feeding the hungry to teaching the willing, and everything in-between, God truly blesses us with talent, energy and creativity. It is amazing to realize that so many want to do even more. Getting together with so many people around the diocese is lots of fun. In the first three sessions we have heard from over 140 people representing 20 church communities.
If you haven\'t yet had the opportunity to join us, there are two sessions yet to come. They are:
4/21: Christ Church, Main and Center Sts., Hornell 5/26: St. Thomas\' Church, 122 Liberty St., Bath
Or, if you can\'t be with us, you can still be heard by submitting your responses to the following questions to the Rev. Canon Denise Yarbrough at D-house or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org)
1. What are three major ministry passions of your congregation?
2. What are the resources (congregational, diocesan and other that could help your congregation) realize or optimize these ministry passions?
In whatever way you are able, we encourage you to be part of the enlightening, amazing and fun Diocesan Listening Process.
