The Soul of Antartica Public Lecture

You're invited to a very unique public lecture.  Glenn McClure is a composer and Arts Integration Consultant. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Eastman School of Music and Visiting Professor at Paul Smith’s College. His compositions have enjoyed a wide audience in the US and abroad. During his recent trip to Antarctica, Glenn used a mathematical conversion process to bring infragravity sound wave data into the hearing range, generating material for music that he hopes to fill concert halls with the messages buried deep in the ice. Glenn will offer a public lecture at Saint Michael’s to share his findings and open a window for us into the “vibrations of the holy,” as the saints would say, that he discovered in Antarctica. This is a free and open lecture.
