[August 18, 2011] Calling the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks “an opportunity for reflection,” Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori notes that the Church “continues to work for healing and reconciliation.” “The greatest memorial to those who died ten years ago will be a world more inclined toward peace,” the Presiding Bishop states in a statement on the anniversary.
