Christ the King Ecumenical Liturgy

Presented by the South Wedge Mission, Artisan Church (SWM), Community of the Savior, Baber AME,  other churches, the service of Christ the King Ecumenical Liturgy last night at South Wedge Mission.
Two years ago, on the eve of the 2016 election, SWM held a similar gathering, attended by over 130 folks, including many Episcopalians.  In light of all the upheavals in the world, SWM felt the time was right to gather again, both to lament and name the struggles, and also, to recommit to the reign of Christ and to living His mission together.  SWM Rev. Matthew Nickoloff said:  "While its also around the "midterm" elections, we didn't want to key our time to the world, but to the eternal reign of Christ."  The South Wedge Mission is a federated congregation with the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester and the Lutheran Synod.
